The Faculty of Nursing, Assiut University organizes an Employment day entitled "Your Pathway After Graduation" for Bachelor's Students

The Faculty of Nursing at Assiut University organized today, Monday, October 14, an employment day under the title "Your way after graduation" for bachelor's students; under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, and the supervision of Dr. Samah Mohammed Abdullah, Dean of the faculty.

Prof. El-Minshawy stressed the importance of guiding students to the labor market and inviting employers; based on the important role played by the faculty to link its graduates to the labor market, pointing out that the recruitment day organized by the faculty of Nursing for bachelor's students aims to introduce available job opportunities, the basics of work, and the laws regulating the practice of nursing profession.

The recruitment day witnessed the presence of Prof. Mahmoud Abdel Alem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Nahed Shawkat, Vice Dean of the faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Khaled Abdulaziz, Director of the Main University Hospital, with the participation of Dr. Mohamed Faraj, Director of the Office of the Misr Al-Khair Foundation in Assiut, along with several faculty members, the directors of various hospitals in Assiut governorate, representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Health Insurance Authority, graduates, and students.

For his part, prof. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem praised the efforts of the Faculty of Nursing in graduating male and female students with high nursing skills; enabling them to perform their work to the fullest, taking into consideration the customs, traditions, foundations, and moral charters of this great profession, noting that the employment day comes in implementation of the presidential initiative "A New Beginning, to Build the Human Being", which is based on human development and preparing new generations; capable of participating in the process of comprehensive development.

Dr. Samah Mohammed Abdullah, the keenness of the faculty administration, to organize a day for employment for bachelor's and excellence students, to learn about everything new to keep pace with the tremendous developments in the labor market, calling on students to develop themselves and develop their skills to represent the name of Assiut University, and the nursing profession in an honorable way.

Dr. Khaled Abdulaziz praised the importance of the nursing profession in providing its medical services, along with medicine by performing therapeutic services that contribute to maintaining human health, and survival, and not any complications that may result from diseases and injuries.

The recruitment day included several important lectures through two scientific sessions: the first dealt with; a lecture on: "The Nursing Career Pathway" by Dr. Nahid Shawkat, "C.V Writing Skills" by Dr. Mohammed Suleiman, Director of the Professional Development Center at the University, "search for a job" by Dr. Marwa Mustafa, Deputy Director of the Professional Development Center, and the second session dealt with; a lecture on "Postgraduate research studies" by Dr. Ikram Ibrahim, Vice dean of the faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, "Ethics of the Nursing Profession" by Dr. Fatima Rushdi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, "Linked In for Nursing Jobs" by Dr. Asma Abubakr, Assistant lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, "Skills Personal interviews for the nursing profession of Dr. Islam Safwat, an assistant lecturer in the administration department at the faculty.
