Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed A.
Gaeis, Assiut University President, the university launched the celebrations of
the World Day for Women, organized by the Center for Studies and Research on
Human Rights (CSRHR). The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Paul Garnier,
Ambassador of Switzerland in Cairo, Dr. Essam Zanati, ex Vice President and
Director of the (CSRHR), Alxander Boderoza, Representative of the United Nations
Population Fund (UNFPA) in Cairo, Dr. Sahar Abdel-Moula, Chair of National
Council for Women, Assiut, Fatma Al-Khayat Vice Minister for Social Solidarity,
and a number of Faculty Deans and representatives from the Civil Community and
students.
