Assiut University President witnesses the launching of a workshop on evaluating students in the new medical program at Upper Egypt Universities

Assiut University President, Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, participated in the launching of a workshop on the assessment of students in the new program of the universities of Upper Egypt, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Makhlouf, Director of the Center for Educational Development in the university and a member of the medical sector committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, Dr. Hoda Makhlouf, Director of Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty, and a number of faculty members. Dr. Ahmed Makhlouf declared that the workshop aims to provide the opportunity to train faculty members on the methods of assessment in the integrated curricula. The workshop is held under the auspices of Dr. Nadia Badrawi, head of the Committee for the development of education at the Supreme Council of Universities, and Major General Ahmed Al-Taoudi, Director of the Military Medical Academy, and with the cooperation of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. The speakers of the workshop were: Dr. Adrian Freeman, President of the European Board of Medical Education, and Dr. Samsama, Coordinator of the Excellence Program in Medical Education in Australia.
