The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research renews his confidence in the President of Assiut University to follow up his work tasks until the end of the academic year, coinciding with the president’s reaching the retirement age

Tarek El-Gammal, President of Assiut University, revealed that Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, issued a decision regarding his continuation of his duties as President of Assiut University, until the end of the current academic year 7/31/2022, coinciding with his attainment of the legal retirement age next Saturday 29/1/2022.

Dr. Tarek El-Gamal expressed his sincere appreciation to the political leadership and to the Minister of Higher Education for their support and sponsorship of Assiut University and the scientific and research activities that take place in it and the achievement of a number of important projects. He also called on all members of the university community to continue their work and effort in order to serve the university and maintain its leadership and achieve progress.
