The Vice President of Assiut University heads the university delegation participating in the "First International Friendship Forum for University Youth" at Mansoura University

Under the auspices of Dr. Tarek El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, Prof. Shehata Gharib, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, announced his leadership of the university delegation participating in the “First International Friendship Forum for University Youth” organized by Mansoura University during the period from 7 to 10 February under the auspices of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of Mansoura University.

Dr. Shehata Gharib indicated the university's keenness to participate in the forum entitled "Friendship" in the context of its constant endeavor to play its enlightening role and its belief in the role of educational institutions in promoting and defending the spirit of brotherhood and human solidarity by strengthening friendship between peoples represented by international students from 36 countries in 28 Egyptian university alongside their Egyptian colleagues.

Dr. Shehata stated that the delegation includes Dr. Saudi Mohamed Hassan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Work for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Maha Ahmed Qassem, a lecturer at the Faculty of Specific Education, and Mohamed Sayed, a specialist in the General Administration of Youth Welfare, in addition to the participation of 16 Egyptian university students as well as international students from Iraq, Syria and Palestine, in the university’s keenness to integrate its international students into the Egyptian society and help them form friendships with their peers from various Egyptian universities, noting that the university delegation will participate in all the forum’s activities, which include sports, artistic and recreational activities.
