The Egyptian Ministry of Religious Endowments “Alawqaf” grants Assiut University a Number of Intellectual and Religious Books

Dr. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice President of Assiut University for Education and Student Affairs, welcomed Sheikh Sayed Abdel Aziz, Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House who presented a set of books donated by the Ministry of Religious Endowments “Alawqaf” to both Dr. Tarek El-Gamal, President of the University and the vice president representatives of various sectors, as well as 200 books presented to distinguished university students.

Dr. Shehata Gharib stated that the ministry's books donated to the university come within the framework of the existing cooperation relations between the university and religious bodies in Egypt in order to enhance the university's efforts and various activities in the field of building students' intellectual and cultural awareness, pointing to the importance of the books presented to the university in various fields among several topics. These topics include noble morals, issues of religion and life, purposes of the Islamic Law “AlSharia” and contemporary issues, protection of churches in Islam, the right of the homeland and women on the throne of Egypt, religions dialogue and cultures, communication skills in the Prophet’s Sunnah, and other important religious and intellectual topics.
