The Association of Integrative Medicine and Sleep Disorders announced the launch of its tenth annual conference, entitled "Consulto", at Badr University in New Nasser City (Plateau), on Wednesday.
Under the patronage of General Issam Saad, Governor of Assiut, in the presence of Dr. Tariq Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University and Dr. Mostafa Kamal, President of Badr University, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Dr. Ahmed Abdou Geies, former president of Assiut University, honorary President of the Conference, and Dr. Mansour Al-Kabash, President of Sphinx University, New Assuit City.
Dr. Susan Salama, Professor of Chest Disease at Assiut University and President of the Conference announced that the Conference extends its work over the two consecutive days and the Conference programme begins on Wednesday morning with an extended session to discuss the health situation in the governorate in the face of the pandemic, with the electronic participation of Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj Al-Din the President's Adviser on Health and Prevention Affairs. The session is also based on the presence of Dr. Alaa Attiya, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of Assiut University Hospitals, Dr. Mohammed Zain, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Assiut and Dr. Ayman Mansour, Director General of the Central Governorate Branch of the Health Insurance Authority, address the general and detailed explanation of the health situation in Assiut in the face of the pandemic within their health sectors and the experience of each sector in addressing the epidemic and the current situation.
