Tariq El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, will witness tomorrow, Tuesday 14/6/2022, the opening of the proceedings of the “Green Energy” exhibition, which is organized by the Faculty of Agriculture in cooperation with a group of companies interested in green energy, in partnership with the community service and environmental development sector, in the presence of Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Dr. Adel Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, with the participation of a group of professors, faculty members and energy experts.

Dr. Maha Ghanem indicated that the exhibition comes within the framework of the university administration’s keenness to play its societal and developmental role and in cooperation with specialized companies to develop the renewable energy potential in Egypt with the aim of maximizing energy supplies to support national development, pointing to the university administration’s keenness to offer all means of support for the success of these events.

Regarding the details of the exhibition, Dr. Adel Mohamed Mahmoud indicated that the exhibition is held under the auspices of Major General Essam Saad, Governor of Assiut, and in coordination with the concerned authorities in the governorate, the exhibition included a number of educational lectures in the field of agriculture and solar energy, and adding that the exhibition will extend from 14 to 16 June.
