Assiut University adopts, under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, a distinguished set of study programs during the academic year 2025/2024, which target a distinguished graduate, capable of keeping up with the requirements of the local, regional and international labor market.

📌The Faculty of Arts at Assiut University presents the "English Translation" program with the credit hours system; which is a distinguished study program,  aiming to prepare specialized cadres in the field of translation and interpretation, using the latest technological methods, which qualify learners to work in various sectors in society, and enable them to compete in the labor market locally, regionally and internationally, under the supervision of: Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Supervisor of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Khaled Salama, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Shirin Abdel Ghaffar Mohammed Program Coordinator.

📌 The program qualifies his graduate to work in the field of translation, in various fields such as: literature, economics, law, teaching, tourism, investment activities, telecommunications bodies, Egyptian foreign banks, and other scientific needs.

📌Duration of study in the program: Four years including (8) semesters.

📌The program accepts; students wishing to join it with the requirement of exceeding the geographical distribution, and accepts transfers from the corresponding programs, or other departments.
