Today.. Assiut University launches a workshop on the occasion of the eleventh World Yoga Day in the covered lounge
Assiut University launches, today, the activities of an introductory workshop on the sport of yoga, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the university, within the framework of the world's celebrations of the eleventh International Day of yoga, the twenty-first of June of each year.
The event will be held in the covered Hall of the University, and is scheduled to be witnessed by Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, governor of Assiut, in addition to the participation of H. E. Suresh Reddy, ambassador of the Republic of India to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Dr. Baraka Chowdhury, director of the Maulana Azad Indian Cultural Center, in cooperation with the embassy of India in Cairo and the Indian Cultural Center.
This workshop comes as part of Assiut University's efforts to strengthen international cultural communication ties and support initiatives aimed at spreading the culture of psychological and physical balance and inner peace, which are the values embodied by yoga as an ancient human and spiritual heritage.
