Assiut University follows up the preparations of the residence halls in Dokki and Qasr Al-Aini to receive the summer vacation season

As part of Assiut University's keenness to provide distinguished services to its guests, the board of Directors of the residence halls in Duki and Qasr Al-Aini held its regular meeting, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, and in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Alim, vice president of the University for community service and environmental development, chairman of the board of Directors of the two houses, and in the presence of council members, to follow up on the readiness of facilities and services coinciding with the start of the summer vacation season.

 Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, confirmed that the residence halls in Dokki and Qasr Al-Aini are an extension of the University's status, which necessitates providing distinguished services befitting the name of the University and the needs of its guests. He pointed out that the summer vacation period is witnessing an increasing demand for accommodation, which requires special preparations and raising the efficiency of facilities and services to ensure a comfortable environment that reflects the honorable image of the University.

For his side, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Alim explained that the meeting discussed a number of important topics, foremost of which were the rules governing residence, where the priority of booking was emphasized for faculty members and assistants assigned official duties, in addition to those affiliated with Assiut University. The financial position of the residence hall fund was also reviewed, and the needs of the two houses for the necessary supplies were discussed to ensure a suitable accommodation environment and an honorable interface for the University.

The meeting was attended by: Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi, undersecretary of the Faculty of law for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Suleiman, undersecretary of the Faculty of social work for graduate studies and research, professor Ayman Shehata, assistant secretary of the University, Professor Ahmed Shawki, head of the Central Department of Legal Affairs, Professor Ibrahim Abdel Tawab, Director General of the president office in Cairo and general supervisor of the two houses, and Professor Mohammed Amin Salama, director general of accounts and budget at the University.
