Assiut University.. Organizes a training program on: "anti-corruption and governance "

Under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University; the General Administration for talent management and Development organized the activities of the training program entitled: "Anti-Corruption and governance", under the supervision of Professor Shawkat saber, Secretary General of the University, and professor Khaled Omran, Director General of the General Administration for talent management and development, with the participation of about (55) employees of various departments in the Administrative Building, University colleges, and University Hospitals, in the discussion Hall on the first floor of the administrative building at the University .

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy explained that the training program aims to hone the skills of university employees from various sectors, and provide them with important information about: combating corruption, reducing its spread, and developing the scientific and knowledge capabilities of employees, within the framework of the Egyptian state's anti-corruption strategy, pointing out that the Egyptian state is undergoing modernization in various fields, and achieving comprehensive development in all sectors and files, which requires the need to follow tight plans to combat corruption, reduce it, and attempts to prevent it from the ground up.

It is worth mentioning that the training course, which runs over two days 12, 13 from january, and deals with a number of topics on: the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, the National Anti-Corruption Strategy, the concept of governance, its role in combating corruption, and the information structure of the Egyptian state, and is discussed by Dr. Mustafa Morsi, Director General of Information Systems and digital transformation, coordinator of the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy of Assiut University, in addition to introducing employees to the concept of corruption, its causes, its negative effects on society, the impact of social values in reducing opportunities for corruption, maintaining the requirements of job duty, and the position of the post, its role in combating corruption, and how to spread the values of integrity and transparency, by Dr. Bassem Suleiman Saleh, professor at the Department of pedagogy at the Faculty of education at the University.
