Dr. El-Minshawy announces the opening of the electronic application for university cities for the academic year 2025/2026

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, announced the opening of the electronic application for university cities for the academic year 2025/2026, pointing out that this step comes within the framework of the University's commitment to facilitate student services and promote digital transformation, in order to ensure the provision of an advanced university environment that supports the needs of students and contributes to achieving academic and living stability for them.

Dr. El-Minshawy explained that university cities are an essential part of the student welfare system, as the university continues its efforts in developing them at all levels, both in terms of infrastructure and the quality of services provided, reflecting the University's vision to provide an integrated university experience  taking into consideration the  psychological and social support for students.

For his side, Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, explained that the application will be available during the period from July 24 to September 1, 2025, through the electronic link:

Or by scanning the attached code, indicating that the application is made only electronically, no paper applications will be accepted.

In the same context, Dr. Ali Hussein, director of the Information Systems Development Center, stated that the electronic application allows students to enter their data and upload the required documents easily and safely, and this comes within the University's plan to apply smart management systems and update the student services system.

Dr. Ali Hussein also pointed out the need to read the rules and instructions carefully before starting registration, and adhere to the correct data to ensure the successful completion of the application process.

Mr. Mahmoud Antar, director general of the university cities, stressed that admission will be in accordance with the approved rules, taking into account the absorption rates and fair distribution, stressing the importance of matching the address proven by the national ID card with the actual place of residence, and the length of stay should not be less than a year, in addition to meeting the general conditions for admission.
