During the fifth meeting of the Academic Council of Assiut Al-Ahlia University

Prof. El-Minshawy signs a protocol between Assiut University Hospitals and Assiut Al-Ahlia University to provide medical insurance service for Al-Ahlia students

On Wednesday, December 15, 2024, prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and in charge of conducting the work of Assiut Al-ahliya University, signed a cooperation protocol between Assiut University University Hospitals and Assiut Al-ahliya University on providing medical insurance service for Al-ahliya students.

  The protocol was signed by prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, Commissioner of Assiut Al-Ahlia University, and Dr. Alaa Attiyah, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and chairman of the board of Directors of University Hospitals, Commissioner of university hospitals, based on the approval of the board of Trustees of Assiut Al-Ahlia University, at its meeting held on November 9, 2024.  

  This came within the framework of the meeting of the Academic Council of Al-Ahlia University, chaired by prof. Ahmed Al-manshawi, and in the presence of Dr. Nobi Mohammed Hassan, vice president of Assiut Al-Ahlia University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice president of Assiut University for education and student affairs, supervisor of the Faculty of languages and languages, Dr. duaib saber, legal adviser to the president of the University, Dr. Khalid Abdul Aziz, director of the main hospital, deans of colleges specialized in studying at Al-Ahlia University, and Mr. Mustafa Hassan, Secretary General of Al-Ahlia University, at the headquarters of Assiut Al-Ahlia University, in the city of New Assiut،

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy stated that the protocol aims to consolidate the ties of cooperation and joint work between Assiut State University and its counterpart Al-Ahlia, and also reflects Assiut University's keenness to harness its human and scientific potential in all fields for scientific and logistical support to the Al-Ahlia University, pointing out that the protocol means providing health insurance service for students of the Al-Ahlia University, scheduled to begin on the first of January 2025.
 
Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy explained that under this protocol, Assiut Al-Ahlia University is scheduled to start providing medical insurance services to students, which include reception and emergency, signing medical examinations at Assiut University Hospitals Clinics, with the necessary medical tests and radiology, booking in internal departments if necessary, and urgent and emergency surgeries.

  Dr. Noubi Mohamed Hassan added that during the meeting of the Academic Council of Assiut Al-Ahlia University for the month of December 2024, a number of academic and administrative topics included on his agenda, related to the conduct of work at the University, were discussed.
