Assiut University, under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, the university president, presents several distinctive academic programs for the academic year 2024/2025 that contribute to enhance the quality of the educational process and keeping up with the requirements of the international and local job market.

The Faculty of Engineering presents the "Interior Architecture Engineering" program, with a credit hour system, for  the academic year 2024/2025. This program provides high-quality education in the field of interior architecture under the supervision of prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, the university's vice president for education and student affairs, prof. Ezzat Morgani, the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and prof. Essam Salah Said, a professor in the architecture department.

The program aims to produce graduates with multiple skills, enabling them to effectively practice the professions of interior and architectural design.

The program's content includes space design, composition, interior design, equipment language, lighting, colors, furniture, and technical elements, and graduates will receive a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture Engineering upon the completion of the program.

The program aims to develop students' creative and innovative thinking, support design capabilities, and provide specialized services to the community that elevate the built environment to meet users' needs.

The duration of the program is 160 accredited hours, and students are accepted according to the admission rules set by the coordination office for university admission every year. The program also accepts students who are transferred from corresponding university faculties, by admission rules issued of the Supreme Council of the Universities.

Job opportunities available to graduates of the "Interior Architecture Engineering" program include working as interior design engineers in various types of buildings, architectural design of architectural projects, freelance practice as a private architectural engineer, participation in private work (engineering office, contracting company), and preparing executive drawings and execution documents for architectural projects and real estate marketing.
