Faculty of Pharmacy Honors the
44th Class
Faculty of Pharmacy celebrated the
graduation of the 44th Class. The celebration was attended by
the Vices- President of Assiut University, and Prof. Gamal Ahmed
Saleh, the Faculty's Dean who stated that the event included 646
students, bringing the total number of graduates of the Faculty
to 11133 thousand graduates since its inauguration. The
celebration included honoring the obtainers of 41 scientific
degree varied between Professor, Assistant Professor, PhD,
Diploma, as well as honoring the students of the top ten whom
are Haitham Hassan Ahmed, Heba Atef Hanafi, seham Mena Armanios,
Ihsan Muhammad Wajih, Hisham Mohamed Bahaa El Din, Mahmoud
Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Mei Tamam Amin, Mohamed Abdel-Elah Desoky,
Sally Abdul Momin Mohamed, Asmaa Abbas Mohammed.
Training Course for Developing
the Pharmacists Skill
At Assiut University
In the frame of the university
concern with graduating distinguished student with skills and
knowledge, Faculty of Pharmacy organized free course for its
students aims to develop skills of the pharmacists, graduate
students are more efficient in participating actively in the
society through the professional performance and moral
obligation. The Course is organized under the auspices of Prof.
Mustafa Kamal, President of the University and Prof. Jamal Ahmed
Saleh, dean of the faculty and in participation with a Saudi
Arabian pharmacy company.

Assiut
University Organizes Medical Conveys
Under the auspices of Prof.
Moustafa Kamal, President of Assiut University, Prof. Said Ahmed
Ibrahim, the Vice- President for Students and Education Affairs.
In the frame of the University activities in the field of
Community Service and Environmental Development, Faculty of
Pharmacy organized in collaboration with Faculty of Medicine,
two medical convoys to Sedfa in Assiut Governorate, and Tema in
Sohag. The activities of the conveys included the examination of
1200 patients and distribution of 4700 packets of medicine in
each convoy, in addition to distribution of material and in-kind
assistance, and organizing seminars on reproductive health and
swine flu(H1N1).
