Human capital and qualification of students and graduates for the labor market" educational seminar at Assiut University 

Under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, the Faculty of Science organized an educational seminar entitled "Human Capital and Qualification of Students and Graduates for the Labor Market" within the Presidential Initiative "A New Beginning; to Build a Human Being", under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Alim, vice president of the University for community service and environmental development, and Dr. Abdul Hamid Abu Sahli, dean of the faculty, during which Dr. Mohammed Abdul Hamid Khalaf, Ph. D., Business Administration, and supervisor of the Upper Egypt pharmaceutical trading company, unified purchasing authority.

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy pointed to the importance of the educational seminar aimed at providing students and graduates with many skills in the fields of the labor market, how to prepare for appropriate jobs, as well as discussing skills of dealing with the work team and how to communicate with others to achieve the elements of success and excellence in work.

The seminar was attended by Dr. Essam Fadl Abu Zeid, vice dean for community service and Environmental Development, Dr. Mohammed Abu al-ayyoun, vice dean for education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Abu Bakr al-Tayeb, vice dean for graduate studies and research, with the participation of the heads of departments, faculty members, the Associate Board, graduates, and students of the faculty.

For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Alim praised the positive role of this seminar in achieving Sustainable Development Goals and within the framework of the implementation of the Presidential Initiative "Bidaya", which is based on investing in human capital through a work program aimed at Human Development and work to consolidate the Egyptian identity.

Dr. Abdul Hamid Abu Sahli stressed that the faculty administration is working to provide distinguished educational services to faculty students to enable them to compete fairly in the labor market, and arm graduates with all the skills and experience necessary to chart a distinguished career path.

Dr. Essam Fadel Abu Zeid pointed out that human capital plays an important and pivotal role in economic development, through human minds, as one of the most important pillars of the wheel of progress for any country.

During his lecture, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Hamid Khalaf discussed intellectual capital, human capital, the advantages of human resources over material resources, modern challenges of human resources, readiness for the labor market, along with the basic skills required for the labor market, how to pass a personal interview, and success skills in the labor market.
