The president of Assiut University receives a report on the follow-up of the progress of work in the university cities and the Olympic Village 

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, stressed that the university continues to provide all necessary support and care to its students, especially during the end-of-the-academic year exams, pointing out that attention extends to students residing in university cities, expatriates, final years students and graduation projects, to ensure a stable and stimulating university environment that helps them excel.

This came within the framework of the report received from Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, on the follow-up of the regularity of work within the university cities and the Olympic Village.

The report explained that the follow-up tour of Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula included a number of units of the University City, accompanied by Mr. Mahmoud Antar, director general of the university cities, Mr. Emad Mohammed Sayed, director of the University City for students, and a number of heads of residential units and employees, where the regularity of accommodation and the continuation of the provision of services efficiently, to support the stability of students during the examination period.

Dr. El-Minshawy pointed out that the report also included the follow-up of the replacement and renovation works currently underway in building X inside the University City, where he directed the rapid completion of the works and preparing the building for housing students in it as soon as possible.

For his side, Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula stated that the follow-up rounds come within the framework of implementing the directives of the president of the university, praising the efforts exerted by the university city administrations to ensure the comfort of students and provide a suitable environment for memorization during exams.

Regarding the Olympic Village, Dr. Ahmed Qara, the general supervisor of the village, confirmed that the follow-up work focused on the readiness of the swimming pool and sports facilities, and ensuring their compliance with public safety standards and preventive measures. Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Directorate of Youth Welfare, also pointed out the regularity of work within the village and the availability of follow-up and insurance teams to provide services smoothly and safely to students and visitors.

These efforts come within a comprehensive plan adopted by the university to ensure the quality of services provided to students, and their continuation efficiently during the examination periods.
