Prof. El-Minshawy: The opening of the dental clinic at the University Student Hospital and the replacement and renovation of the hospital's laboratory.

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, reviewed a report presented by Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, on the achievements of the University Student Hospital during 2024. This review is part of the continuous follow - up  process to ensure the provision of medical services to patients and the care of emergency cases under the supervision of Dr. Mostafa Fayez, Director of the Hospital.

  The report reviewed the cases received at the University Student Hospital, which provides various medical services to university students, including diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical services, as the hospital received (20,500) cases in its various outpatient clinics, and the number of people coming to receive dialysis services (2400).

  The report highlighted the hospital's emergency reception cases, where the number of people attending the reception reached (1700) cases, and the number of surgical operations reached (370).

  The report revealed that the hospital's dental clinic was opened to provide services to all university students, and the hospital's laboratory was replaced and renovated according to the latest medical systems.
