-    Prof. El-Minshawy: accreditation is a recognition of educational programs that have shown excellence in achieving their mission and puts them in front of a challenge to continue their excellence and achieve more excellence.

-  Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, reviewed a report on: the most prominent achievements of the University in the field of quality and accreditation, during the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025, explaining: that this accreditation is a recognition of educational programs that have shown excellence in achieving its mission and outputs; in all fields including the education process, Scientific Research, Curriculum Development, study plans, community service, student services, and is a real reflection of the University's efforts; in the development of academic programs, it also puts colleges in front of a challenge; to continue their excellence, and achieve more excellence.

-  The report pointed out that the "electronics and Communications Engineering" Program at the Department of Electrical Engineering - Faculty of Engineering has received international accreditation from the American ABET Foundation, as the first program of its kind (public-free) in engineering colleges nationwide; it is internationally accredited by this institution.

-This achievement is one of the fruits of cooperation between the University by the Faculty of Engineering, and the Ministry of Higher Education and scientific research-represented by the Higher Education Development Project Management Unit, through one of the joint projects aimed at supporting study programs in order to obtain international accreditation.

-  The report also pointed out that the Faculty of Nursing at Assiut University has obtained international accreditation for Health Sciences from the German accreditation body (AHPGS), and this success is the result of intensive efforts by an institutional team at the College, in cooperation with the university administration, where the team made intensive efforts to meet all the requirements, in addition to meetings with representatives of the college administration, the quality team, faculty members, and students, reflecting the fruitful cooperation and joint efforts that led to this achievement.

- Assiut University continues its achievements in the field of accreditation, where the Digital Transformation Center - several colleges at the university - has received accreditation from the Supreme Council of Universities to be an Accredited Center for training and testing to grant a certificate of the basics of digital transformation, after meeting the standards and controls announced by the Supreme Council of universities in this regard, and the preparation of digital transformation trainers at the University.

-  The commercial Statistical Laboratory at the Faculty of Commerce obtained accreditation to grant a digital transformation certificate from the central unit for Information Technology training at the Electronic and knowledge services center of the Supreme Council of Universities to become an Accredited Center for training and electronic tests on information technology programs and their applications approved by the central unit for Information Technology training (CUIT), for three years, based on the University's responsibility and its role in spreading knowledge of Information Technology and the digital transformation of the university community.
