Visit to Burdue University Yields

-  Preparation of trainers from Assiut University in the field of Meat Industry Technology. - American Training Programs with Accredited Certificates. - Agreement of Cooperation and a joint international conference Out of its keen interest to hold international cooperation and partnership with other universities, Assiut University has signed a pact of agreement between the Centre for Food Hygiene and Safety, Assiut University and the Department of Food Science, College of Agriculture, Burdue University, USA. The agreement was signed by Dr. Talaat Al Khateeb on behalf of Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Sameia, President of Assiut University, and Dr. Jay T. Akridge, Dean of the College of Agriculture in the presence of Dr. Arun K Bhunia, Coordinator and Courtesy Professor of Food Science.  Al-Khateeb indicated that the pact signed falls within the University activities regarding the relationships which enhance scientific research and benefit the University. The pact will last for five years liable to be renewed for a similar duration.
