Assiut University will organize the opening ceremony of the academic year 2024/2025, under the supervision of Prof. El-Minshawy, President of the University; and under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, next Sunday, September 29, at eight o'clock in the morning, in front of the administrative building, which is an annual tradition organized by the university, in cooperation with a family of students for Egypt, the University Students Union, and the mobile management of the General Directorate of Youth Welfare, to enhance the spirit of loyalty, belonging, and citizenship among the students of Assiut University; organized by: Dr. Madiha Darwish, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and the General Supervisor of Student Activities at the University, Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Directorate of Student Welfare, and In the General Directorate of Student Welfare.

The President of Assiut University explained that the panorama of student activities will be opened in front of the Sports Stadium; which contain the presentation of the achievements of student activities during the past academic year; from awards, shields, and cups for all activities, in addition to; a display of the vision and mission of each department, the services it provides, and activities; to introduce new and old students to the activities and events that are implemented, of all kinds within the campus, including sports, scientific, artistic, cultural, social and scientific activity, families, and student unions; which would contribute to encouraging students to participate in those activities, and express their ideas and trends by showing their skills and talents; to represent the name of the university in all local and regional forums, And international.

After the ceremony of greeting the science and the opening of the Panorama of Student Activities, it is scheduled to make a tour to visit several colleges of the university; to follow the start of the study there, and the extent of students' regularity and reassurance them, within the framework of the university's great interest in supporting the educational process, student activities, and providing a stimulating and supportive academic environment for excellence and creativity.

Prof. El-Minshawy confirmed that the development of the study schedules for the faculties has been completed and announced to students, as well as the completion of all maintenance, construction, and equipment works, as well as the preparation of all classrooms, laboratories, and workshops for the university's study programs, and providing them with educational devices and media.

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy directed the need to regularize the educational process and study from the first day of the new academic year, while providing all facilities, facilities and means of support and care for students, and harnessing all available capabilities, stressing the presence of the deans of colleges, institutes, faculty members, and the ancillary staff on campus and colleges, and open their doors to students to learn about their problems, find urgent solutions to them and interact with them, which contributes to the regularity of the educational process successfully.
