Assiut University President Is Back From Malaysia

Accompanied by Prof Mostafa M. Kamal, former President of Assiut University, Prof. Mohamed Abdel Samiea, President of Assiut University returns from Malaysia after a week-visit within the framework of an agreement between Assiut University and the Malaysian Academy for Quran Sciences.   Prof. Abdel Samiea indicated that the visit  came in   response to an invitation from the Malaysian Side to activate and pursue the agreement between Assiut University and the Malaysian Academy through which the Malaysian Academy grants fellowships for Malaysian students to study at Assiut University. The Program started last year with 19 students to study dentistry and developed this year to include a number of 125 students to enlarge their study domains including Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy.   The University President assured the University’s keen efforts to allow better chances for all Arab and International students to study at Assiut University where the administration provides all possible means for proper quality learning environment and other means that facilitate their stay and study. The President also expressed his delight and satisfaction with the success of the Egyptian-Malaysian cooperation in the scientific and cultural fields particularly because Malaysia is a developed country and this program proves the distinguished quality of Assiut University specially in the Medical Sciences.
