Assiut University announces hosting the meeting of the Supreme Council for Community Affairs and Environmental Development Next Week for the First Time in its History
Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President of Assiut University for Community Service and Environmental Development, announced that the university will host the meeting of the Supreme Council for Community Service and Environmental Development in its session held for February, next Sunday.
Dr. Maha Ghanem stated the importance of convening the Supreme Council for Environmental Affairs in the university campus for the first time in its history, as part of the proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Development and Environment in the Arab World, held under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, Major General Essam Saad, Governor of Assiut, and Dr. Tarek El-Gamal, President of the University.
Noting that the Supreme Council for Community Service and Environmental Development is scheduled to convoke in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Mostafa Latif, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, with a group of Egyptian university presidents and university vice presidents for community service and environmental development affairs.
Dr. Thabet Abdel Moneim, Director of the Center for Environmental Studies and Research, added that the conference extends from 20 to 22 February to discuss a number of themes related to the environment and its various issues and problems, with the wide participation of various researchers and specialists in environmental affairs from Egypt and nine Arab countries
