Tariq El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, announced the launch of  the proceedings of the “International Women’s Day Women Pioneers in Information Technology 2022” conference, which will be held in the octagonal hall attached to the administrative building at eleven o’clock in the morning, and organized by the Graduate Studies Affairs Sector and research at the university in cooperation with the Google Developers Groups, which witnesses the presence of a group of pioneering women in the field of information technology, emphasizing the university’s belief in the role and importance of women and the achievements they achieve in scientific, political, economic and social terms. The university praises the exceptional roles in the history of societies through their effective and influential participation in their countries. In recent years, a large group of women and entrepreneurs have emerged in the Middle East.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawi, Vice President of Assiut University for Graduate Studies and Research, indicated that the conference is being held for the first time in the governorate and the University of Assiut, with the aim of supporting pioneering women in the field of information technology, which will take place in partnership with Google developer groups in Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia. The conference witnesses the participation of managers in international companies and influential figures in society either in attendance or via video conferencing and in the presence of a group of leading women in the field of information technology.
