Assiut University, under the leadership of Prof . Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University; organizes a literary competition in the fields of: (colloquial poetry - short story - article); on the occasion of the university's celebration of the 51st anniversary of the glorious October victories, under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, within the framework of the university's keenness to develop the national sense among its students, and introduce them to the value of this victory that restored Egypt's entire national soil.
The competition is organized by the Department of Cultural Activity, in the General Directorate of Student Welfare; under the supervision of Dr. Madiha Darwish, General Supervisor of Student Activities at the University, Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Directorate of Student Welfare, and Mr. Hashem Sayed, Director of the Department.
The literary competition aims to build collective awareness among students, encourage them to actively participate in construction, development, and a national sense, and introduce them to the value of the glorious October victory. The competition comes within the framework of the presidential initiative for human development "A new beginning; to build the human being", which aims to develop the Egyptian human, and work to consolidate the Egyptian identity; to build a complete, advanced society in various fields.
The fields of the literary competition include: ( poetry - short stories - and articles), the works, arbitration, and discussion are delivered during the period from 28 to 30 October, and the winners of the first three places are awarded; financial prizes.
