President of Assiut University Attends the Graduation Ceremony of the 58th Class of the Faculty of Medicine.

The Governor of Assiut commends the Faculty of Medicine for its distinguished professionals in various specializations.

Assiut University President congratulates the graduates and calls on them to have good morals, humanity, patience and dedication.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine encourages graduates to keep pace with medical advancements.

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, attended the graduation ceremony of the 58th class of the Faculty of Medicine on Monday, February 24, at the Nile Center for Enlightenment and Cultural Radiation at the university. The event was attended by Major General Hisham Abu El-Nasr, Governor of Assiut; Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors; and Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Rahman, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Amany Omar, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr.  Hoda Makhlouf, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Diaa Abdel Hamid, Assiut Medical Syndicate, Dr. Khaled Abdel Aziz, Director of the Main University Hospital, Dr. Mohamed Zein, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Assiut; Dr. Mina Emad, Deputy Governor of Assiut; Major General Alaa Abdel-Gaber, Secretary-General of Assiut Governorate; along with a distinguished group of department heads, faculty members, graduates, and their families.

In his speech, Major General Hisham Aboul-Nasr expressed his happiness to participate in the celebration of the Faculty of Medicine's graduation of new highly qualified doctors, who will contribute to strengthening the health system and improving the quality of medical and therapeutic services provided to patients. He praised the Faculty of Medicine's distinguished cadres in various specialties, noting Assiut University's role in serving the community and supporting research and scientific activities. He also urged the graduates to master their work, develop their skills, and continue learning, which will reflect positively on the quality of medical services.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy congratulated the graduates on this great achievement, attained through their hard work and perseverance. He also congratulated their parents for their continuous support, saying, “Today, you reap the rewards of your efforts, seeing your children become qualified doctors entrusted with the noble mission of this profession.”

The university president extended his gratitude and appreciation to the Faculty of Medicine’s administration and faculty members for their role in providing an excellent educational environment and passing on their expertise to new generations. 
He also addressed the graduates, saying: " Today marks the beginning of a stage in your lives, as you assume real responsibility, so be kind, humble, compassionate and humane, as the medical profession is not just a job, but a noble mission that requires patience and dedication."

Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the faculty members in training a new generation of doctors, and thanked the parents for their support for their children. He called on the graduates to adhere to the values of the profession and continue to learn and develop to always be up to the responsibility of performing their humanitarian mission.

Dr. Alaa Attia congratulated the graduates of the 58th class, expressing his happiness with the graduation of new doctors representing the Faculty of Medicine, which is one of Assiut University's strengths. He also called on the graduates to keep abreast of developments in the medical field, to continue training, to acquire skills, to treat patients well, and to aspire for the best.

Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahman emphasized that professional ethics and continuous development are the cornerstones of a successful doctor. He urged the graduates to dedicate themselves to serving humanity and extended his congratulations to their parents, expressing his joy in seeing a new class join the medical field and help meet the country’s demand for skilled doctors.

Dr. Diaa Abdel Hamid congratulated the graduates and their families, expressing his pride in their efforts to reach this special moment. He emphasized that the syndicate welcomes the new doctors and provides them with the necessary support and care, pointing out the importance of adhering to the ethics of the profession. At the end of his speech, he called on the graduates to take the medical oath to start practicing their profession.

Dr. Mohamed Abu El-Qasim, President of the Faculty of Medicine Student Union, congratulated his fellow graduates, urging them to always remember the support of their professors throughout their academic journey. He also expressed gratitude to the graduates’ parents for the continuous support, was a major reason for reaching this special day.

On behalf of the graduating class, Dr. Mario Hosni and Dr. Rabab Abdel Nasser expressed their happiness on this special day, emphasizing their pride in belonging to Assiut University and the Faculty of Medicine. They also praised the support provided by the university administration and the faculty during their years of study, and thanked their parents for their continuous efforts and assistance.

The ceremony included a moment of silence in memory of Dr. Mohamed Samih Ali, a student from the 58th class who recently passed away in a tragic accident. His family was honored in recognition of his legacy. 

The event concluded with the recognition of outstanding students and graduates, amidst an atmosphere filled with pride and joy.
