The president of Assiut University chairs the meeting of the computer consulting center to discuss the development of digital services and enhance its various activities

  The board of Directors of the computer consulting center at the Faculty of computers and information at Assiut University held a meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the university, to discuss a number of files related to the center's activities and services, in addition to discussing ways to develop its technical services, in line with the requirements of digital transformation and contribute to strengthening the technological infrastructure at the University.

The meeting was attended by the members of the board of directors, headed by Dr. Tayseer Abdul Hamid, dean of the college and vice chairman of the board of Directors of the center, engineer Ayman Ayad, director of the Information Technology Branch at Assiut University, and Dr. Majed Ahmed Askar, director of the center. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Khaled Fathi, vice dean for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Dalia Mohammed Nashat, vice dean for community service and Environmental Development, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Awadi, vice dean for graduate studies and research, and Mr. Mohammed Mohsen, Secretary of the college.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stated that the university continues to fully support the development of digital infrastructure and provide advanced consulting services in the field of Information Technology, in line with the digital transformation witnessed by the country in various sectors.

The president of Assiut University pointed out that the computer consulting center is one of the important technical arms of the University, and plays a pivotal role in providing technical solutions, consulting and technical support to various university sectors, as well as its contribution to serving the local community by providing its services to institutions and bodies outside the University.

Dr. Majed Ahmed Askar, director of the computer consulting Center, pointed out that the meeting reviewed the most prominent achievements of the center during the past period, in addition to discussing future plans to expand the scope of its work. He explained that one of the most prominent topics discussed is the expected cooperation with the University Hospitals at Minya and South Valley universities to implement the program of Deputies, in addition to strengthening aspects of cooperation with various university faculties, and expanding the base of training programs offered by the center inside and outside the University.

He also pointed out that the center has launched a new set of specialized training courses in the fields of Computer Science and Information Technology, in line with the needs of the market and the requirements of digital transformation.
