Assiut University receives a committee from the Supreme Council of universities to follow up the aptitude tests at the Faculty of Fine Arts

Within the framework of coordinating university admissions for the academic year 2025, and in continuation of the aptitude tests, the Faculty of Fine Arts at Assiut University received a committee from the Supreme Council of universities to inspect the performance of students and aptitude tests within the college, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that the aptitude tests aim to select students whose skills and abilities correspond to the nature of the study in the disciplines they wish to join, in order to contribute to the development of their abilities and ensure their excellence during their university career. He pointed out the need to fully comply with the instructions issued by the Higher Committee for aptitude tests at the Supreme Council of universities, and ensure the process proceeds according to the set plan, while providing all means of support and care for students, and creating the appropriate climate for them to perform tests easily and conveniently, wishing all students success and success.

 On Tuesday, July 15, Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, received the ability tests follow-up committee at the Supreme Council of universities, which included Dr. Alaa Mohammed Abdul-Ati, Dr. Mahmoud Badr Mohammed, and Professor Mohammed Ahmed Atiya, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Helmy Hefnawi, dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts.

After the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula conducted a field tour inside the College of Fine Arts to follow up on the progress of aptitude tests, which were conducted inside exam halls 1, 2 and 15, during which he met with a number of students and supervisors, stressing the importance of facilitating procedures for students to ensure that they perform the tests in the best possible environment.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Helmi Al-Hefnawi explained that the aptitude tests at the college are divided into two types: the first is for the Department of architecture, and is performed by students of the Scientific Division (sport) only, and the second type is the art tests that qualify for admission to the Departments of sculpture, photography, decoration, and graphics, and is available to all students of the scientific and literary divisions. He also confirmed the college administration's full commitment to all the controls and standards set by the Supreme Council of universities to ensure transparency and accuracy in evaluating applicants.
