Assiut National University announces the launch of the "Interior Architecture Engineering" program at the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences for the academic year 2025/2026

Assiut National university announced the launch of a study program "Interior Architecture Engineering" at the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences, in the academic year 2025/2026, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and Commissioner for the conduct of the work of the National university, within the framework of the University's endeavor to provide distinguished academic programs that keep pace with the needs of the labor market and improve the quality of engineering education in Egypt.

The program is supervised by Dr. Nobi Mohammed Hassan, vice president of Assiut University for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Khaled Salah, dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Assiut University and supervisor of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Assiut University.

 Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and Commissioner for the conduct of the work of the private university, stressed that the "Interior Architecture Engineering" program is one of the vital disciplines that keep pace with the developments of the times in the fields of interior design and architectural execution, pointing out that the program reflects the University's commitment to provide engineering education that integrates the academic and applied aspects, and prepares graduates qualified to compete in the labor market locally and internationally.

The program "Interior Architecture" focuses on the integrated concepts of architecture as a basic science and Interior architecture as a discipline, enabling students to possess the technical skills necessary to design the interior environments of buildings in contemporary styles and according to the modern technologies.

The program aims to prepare graduates specialized in interior architecture, equipped with engineering, scientific and humanitarian knowledge, in addition to developing creativity, analysis skills and using modern design software, while enhancing their abilities in self-learning and professional awareness of the role of this specialty in community service.

The duration of study in the program is ten main semesters (five years), with the opportunity to shorten the length of time by studying some courses in an optional summer semester. Each student receives continuous academic supervision from one of the faculty members to assist him during registration process and following up his scientific progress throughout studying years.
