
As part of Assiut National University's strategy to provide an outstanding university education that meets the aspirations of students and is in line with the requirements of the labor market, the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences announced the launch of a set of new and distinguished academic programs for the academic year 2025/2026.
The activities of National University come under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and Commissioner for conducting the work of Assiut Al-Ahlia University, and under the supervision of Dr. Nobi Mohammed Hassan, vice president of National University for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Khaled Salah, supervisor of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that these programs reflect the University's vision towards providing modern applied education, preparing graduates who are scientifically and practically qualified, and able to contribute effectively in various fields of development, stressing the University's keenness to create an educational environment that combines the theoretical and applied aspects by the latest international standards.
The offered programs include the following:
1. Interior Design Architecture
The program aims to qualify graduates who can design interior spaces creatively and practically, by integrating the concepts of architecture and interior architecture. The program includes training in architectural analysis, the use of specialized software, and encouraging self-learning, which qualifies the graduate to work in the fields of interior design and research and development.
2. Mechatronics and Robotics engineering
The program combines the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering, with a focus on the design and operation of intelligent systems and robotics, and remote control technologies. The program gives graduates opportunities to work in the fields of operation and maintenance of mechanical and electronic machines and systems using the latest software and technologies.
3. Biomedical Engineering
The program prepares graduates who possess the engineering and biomedical knowledge necessary for the design, development, and maintenance of medical devices. It includes advanced training in the analysis of signals and vital data using the latest technologies, with qualification to work in hospitals, medical device manufacturing and maintenance companies, research and development centers, in compliance with professional and ethical standards.
4. Construction Engineering and Project Management
The program focuses on the development of technical and managerial skills among graduates to manage construction projects efficiently and professionally. The training includes planning and implementing projects, preparing tenders and contracts, managing budgets, and monitoring schedules, while enabling students to deal with major challenges of infrastructure projects using modern technologies.
