Professor El-Menshawy, former President of Assiut University, extends his sincere congratulations to Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of Assiut University for Education and Student Affairs, on the occasion of the issuance of the decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to appoint him as Acting President of Assiut University,
as of August 1, 2026, until the completion of the procedures for appointing a new president of the university.
Professor El-Menshawy expressed his sincere wishes to Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla for success in performing his duties, stressing his confidence in his ability to continue the march of work and giving, and to complete the efforts of developing and upgrading Assiut University in various academic, research, and service sectors, to achieve its mission and national role in serving the community.
Professor El-Minshawy also affirmed his pride in the achievements made within Assiut University during the past years, wishing the university family continued progress and excellence, and that the university remains a beacon of science, research and innovation, and a pioneer among Egyptian and regional universities
