Professor El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, issued several decisions related to the appointment, renewal of the appointment, assignment and delegation of some academic leaders at the South Egypt Cancer Institute, the faculties of human medicine, dentistry, science, agriculture, early childhood education, pharmacy, and the Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, within the framework of supporting distinguished competencies and strengthening the academic and administrative work system in various faculties and institutes.
The decisions of the South Egypt Cancer Institute included the appointment of Dr. Amr Farouk Murad, Professor in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology for Oncology, as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the appointment of Dr. Hosny Badrawy Hamed Omran, Professor in the Department of Clinical Pathology, as Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, for a period of three years each.
At the Faculty of Medicine, the decisions included the renewal of the appointment of Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahman Ahmed Mohamed, Professor in the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry, as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the renewal of the appointment of Dr. Tariq Ahmed Mohamed Ali Sayed, Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Surgery, as Chairman of the Department's Council, and the renewal of the appointment of Dr. Hiam Zakaria Ahmed, Professor in the Department of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology, as Chairman of the Department's Council, until they reach the legal age of pension.
At the Faculty of Dentistry, the decisions included the renewal of the assignment of Dr. Mohamed Badawi Abdel Hamid Ali, Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Biology, to carry out the work of the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the renewal of the assignment of Dr. Mohamed Nahed Attia Mohamed, Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, to carry out the work of the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, for a period of one year each.
At the Faculty of Science, the decisions included the renewal of the appointment of Dr. Naima Mohamed Hammam Youssef, a professor in the Department of Botany and Microbiology, as the head of the department's council until she reaches the legal age of pension.
At the Faculty of Agriculture, the decisions included the renewal of the appointment of Dr. Heidi Ibrahim Jabr Abul Naga, Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology, as Chairman of the Department's Council, and the renewal of the appointment of Dr. Rashad Abdel Wahab Ibrahim, Professor in the Department of Fruits, as Chairman of the Department's Board for a period of three years each.
The decisions also included assigning Dr. Amira Mahrous Mahrous Mahrous, Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences at the College of Early Childhood Education, to carry out the work of the head of the department's council.
It also included the renewal of the assignment of Dr. Manal Ahmed Mohamed Mandour, a full-time professor in the Department of Medical Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine, to supervise the Department of Biochemistry at the College of Pharmacy for a period of one year.
About the Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, the decisions included the delegation of Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Professor at the Department of Botany and Microbiology
at the Faculty of Science, to carry out the work of the Dean of the Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology.
