The president of Assiut University witnesses the opening of the training program to qualify applicants for the position of Dean of the faculty

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, witnessed today, Sunday,  12January, the opening of the training program to qualify applicants for the position of Dean of the faculty, which is organized by the Center for developing the capabilities of faculty members and leaders at the university, over three days; from 12 until 14 this January, under the supervision of Dr. Jaber Ahmed Mujahid, director of the center.

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy pointed out that the holding of this program comes within the framework of the University's keenness to choose the best elements for the management of colleges, and the most capable of achieving the goals of the national strategy for higher education and scientific research 2030, and the state strategy for Sustainable Development.the program also reflects the keenness of the university administration to prepare and qualify University cadres and leaders by emphasizing a number of subjective, professional, administrative and leadership skills, to support them to make appropriate decisions to manage their colleges.

For his part, Dr. Jaber Ahmed Mujahid explained that the training program includes lectures and seminars, where the first day included two Scientific Sessions, the first for Dr. Ahmed abdulmoula, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, on institutional development in the education and students sector, and the second for Dr. doib saber, dean of the Faculty of law and legal adviser to the president of the University, on legal aspects at universities.

It is worth mentioning that the sessions of the second and third days include lectures on: institutional development in the community service and environmental development sector by Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Alim, vice president of the University for community service and environmental development; institutional development in the Graduate Studies and research sector by Dr. Jamal Badr, vice president of the University for graduate studies and research; administrative aspects at universities by Professor Shawkat saber, secretary general of the University; strategic planning by Dr. Mohammed Abdul Azim Talab, director of the Strategic Planning Unit at the University; and financial aspects at universities by Professor Essam Kamal, representative of the Ministry of finance at the University
