Under the supervision of Prof. Mustafa Kamal, president of Assiut University, Prof. Hossam Kamel, president of Cairo University and of the Egyptian association for tumors, Prof. Maher Al-Asal, dean of Assiut faculty of medicine, and Prof Hassanin Khaled, Cairo university vice-president, Assiut university witnessed the activities of the second scientific seminar for treating tumors. The seminar goals are to know the state-of-art in the diagnosis, treatment and researches of tumors, and to improve the medical services introduced to patients at the Upper-Egypt institute for tumors during and after the treatment.
