The vice president of Assiut University follows up the maintenance and development work in the female student city in Al-walidiya

  Within the framework of the directives of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, on the need to intensify follow-up on maintenance and development works in university cities, and to create a suitable living environment for students in preparation for the new academic year, Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice-president of the University for education and student affairs, conducted a field tour of the city of external housing for female students in Al-walidiya area.

The tour included inspecting residential units numbers (9, 15, 16), to follow up on the ongoing maintenance and renovation works, as part of the University's preparations to receive students with the start of the academic year 2025/2026.

The vice president of the university was accompanied during the tour by: Mr. Mahmoud Antar, director general of university cities, Mr. Ashraf Ahmed, director of external housing at the University, Ms. Manal Mohammed Shehata, agent of external housing, Mr. Ahmed Hamed, head of maintenance, in addition to a number of heads of residential units and building supervisors.

  Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula inspected the Memorial Hall in building (15), which was equipped from the self-resources of the university cities, as well as a number of administrative offices, living rooms, and bedrooms, which are currently undergoing various paints and equipment works, stressing the need to complete all the work before the start of the study.

The vice president of the University stressed that the continuous field follow-up comes within the framework of the University's keenness to provide all means of support and care for its male and female students, and to provide an appropriate university environment that encourages educational achievement and psychological and living stability.
