Strategic Objectives

  1. To spread a culture of quality among college employees, including faculty members, their assistants, the student, the administration, and the staff.
  2. Increased understanding of the idea of quality of output between faculty and their assistants, students, administration and staff.
  3. Motivating teaching staff and their assistants, students, administrative staff and employees to enhance quality and efficiency.
  4. Contribute efforts to continually increase the standard of service.
  5. Definition and recording of college performances annually.
  6. Build a database for future comparisons.
  7. Identify the strengths and shortcomings of the education process particularly in the fields of management, accounting, academic research particularly community services.
  8. Develop effective strategies to improve strengths and resolve weaknesses.
  9. Strategy of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Nursing-Assiut University to improve its function.

he required steps to achieve the strategic goals of the Faculty’s  Quality Assurance Unit which are consistent with the approach of the University Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center:

  • First: the completion of research to completely persuade faculty members of the value of evaluating university performance and quality assurance by ensuring consistency of seminars and workshops to spread the culture of evaluation among staff , students and administrators.
  • Second: to carry out internal quality management work in the college, to incorporate quality assurance processes in the college, and to apply for institutional accreditation for the college, as well as to provide academic support to its programs from local and foreign bodies with an outstanding reputation.
  • Third: follow up on the assessment and growth of the educational process and seek regular accreditation of degrees for programs of study.
  • Fourth: an unwavering commitment to improve the standard of students scientifically and skillfully in order to increase the quality of their success to the international level and strive to increase their capacity to learn, analyze, develop and make decisions that help their ability to succeed in the labor market, as well as their ability to represent, improve and solve the society health problems.
  • Fifth: the creation of education systems to increase the quality of goods by:
  1. Create academic curricula and teaching methods, as well as academic and administrative regulations, in a manner that contributes to facilitate, perform, seriousness and objectivity in order to keep up with global growth in the nursing sector.
  2. Develop a directory for both programs of theoretical and practical research.
  3. Build theoretical, oral and realistic review and correction processes to ensure objectivity, fairness, accountability and trust-building between the student and the professor, as well as identifying those with actual competencies.
  4. Establish mechanisms for promoting freedom of expression and the capacity to debate and criticize the student.
  5. Modernization of facilities for instruction in nursing skills.
  6. Modernizing classrooms and offering modern audio-visual facilities.
  • Sixth: follow-up to global scientific and technological progress and work to engage with national and international quality assurance bodies and to highlight the importance of quality in university education.
  • Seventh: follow up on the publications of foreign skilled nursing organizations.
  • Eighth: work to open networks in the International Research Centers corresponding to the College of Nursing and share experiences and cultures with it.
  • Ninth: Build the College Library and provide it with contact points for the Knowledge Network as well as the new versions of the Nursing References.
  • Tenth: broadening the scope for involvement in decision-making among college staff in collaboration with unit leaders.
  • Eleventh: follow-up on the seriousness, firmness and objectivity of the implementation of the rules and procedures.
  • Twelfth: Work to set up an open and distance education program.
  • Thirteenth: Doing a job requires research from different nursing specializations and enabling them
  • Fourteenth: Developing questionnaires for the views of samples from users of the product (college graduates) at all health service sites in the local area in which they operate and evaluating the outcomes of these questionnaires statistically, in order to recognize differences in the level of graduates and to establish an appropriate plan to resolve them.
  • Fifteenth: Continuous monitoring of the evaluation system and, if necessary, the adjustment of its process.
