  Today, Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 12-2 pm, a symposium was organized by the Scientific Research Ethics Committee of the College of Nursing, in cooperation with the University’s Central Committee for Scientific Research Ethics, in Conference Hall (A) in the administrative building of the college.

At the end of the symposium, Prof. Dr. Samah Muhammad Abdullah, Dean of the College, announced the most important recommendations of the symposium.

1- The research that is extracted from the scientific theses must be presented to the councils of its affiliated departments and the scientific research ethics committee in the college if it differs from the title of the thesis.

2- Agreeing in advance on the arrangement of the status of the participants in the research extracted from the scientific theses

3- Not relying on the artificial intelligence program (Chat GPT) in research work

4- Educating the members of the teaching staff and the supporting staff about the ethical violations of scientific research and how to overcome them

5- Educating the members of the teaching staff and the supporting staff about the stages of preparing and writing scientific research in a correct manner to avoid wrong behaviors in research.
