On Monday, August 18, 2025, the College Council held its (264)th session, chaired by Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Council, and attended by Council members from the College's vice deans and faculty members.
Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College, began the session by welcoming the attendees. The Council then discussed a number of important topics across the College's various sectors.
In the Graduate Studies and Research Sector, the Council addressed topics related to the formation of discussion committees for researchers and the approval of registration and grant decisions. It also approved the opening of graduate studies for the current academic year and the date of the second-round exams for graduate students.
In the Education and Student Affairs Sector, His Excellency discussed matters related to the start of the new academic year and study schedules.
The Council also discussed topics related to the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, reviewing a number of proposals related to activating the College's activities in this context. It also discussed ways to develop the university and service environment to serve the educational system.
