Research Abstract

research aims :
The research objectives to design a Plyometric training program that uses terminal – unilateral and bilateral - action of the two feet and study its effect on The muscular power of legs and the numerical level
Curriculum used:
In the light of the research goals and hypothesise, the researcher used the experimental method by designing two experimental groups, and applying a pre and a post measurement test as an experimental design.
Research community
The population were 2nd year male students, from the faculty of Physical Education, Assiut university, New Valley branch, in the 2nd term for the academic year 2014/2015, consisting of 138 students who study the basics of field competitions.
conclusions:
The Plyometric training program using a terminal unilateral action (asynchronous), has a more positive effect on the vertical muscular power and can help improve the numerical achievement level in the high jump competition than the Plyometric training program that uses a terminal bilateral action (synchronous).
Recommendations
Any Plyometric training program; should not only depend on the training of the two limps together but also should focus more on the effective training of each limp separately.
