Today, the Faculty of Sports Science at Assiut University received a delegation representing the Supreme Council of Universities. The visit was part of a field review of the aptitude tests for prospective students applying for the 2026/2027 academic year, aimed at ensuring the smooth conduct of the exams and adherence to approved regulations and standards.
The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Dr. Yasser Hassan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khodary, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Dr. Mostafa El-Sebaie, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, alongside faculty members and the organizing committees.
During the visit, the delegation inspected the testing venues and reviewed operational procedures, the level of organization, and the measures taken to ensure a suitable environment for students—thereby upholding the principles of equal opportunity and transparency throughout the testing process.
The delegation expressed its appreciation for the excellent preparation, organization, and orderly workflow, as well as the strict adherence to the regulations governing the aptitude tests. They commended the efforts of the faculty administration and organizing committees in conducting the exams in a manner befitting Assiut University.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized that the Faculty continues to mobilize all its resources to ensure the aptitude tests are conducted optimally. This effort aligns with the directives of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, University President, and reflects the Faculty's commitment to providing an environment that enables students to take the exams with ease and convenience. This visit is part of the ongoing monitoring conducted by the Supreme Council of Universities to assess the smooth conduct of aptitude tests across various faculties and to ensure the application of approved standards, thereby guaranteeing the highest levels of quality and transparency.
