Dean of The Faculty of sugar and integrated industries technology (FSIIT)
Faculty of sugar and integrated industries technology (FSIIT) is considered one of the bright spots in the sky of science in the Arab Republic of Egypt, not only for its scientific level but also as a model for linking the university and scientific research with industry and community services.The institute is one of its kinds in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Middle East and North Africa and one of the few institutes in this field around the world. While there are a few similar institutes over the world aren’t exceed the number of fingers in one hand.This Institute was established as a result of sincere efforts and open minds believed in the science’s importance from theSugar and Integrated Industries Company and Assiut UniversityLeaders.
The objectives and hopes needed from the Institute on the level of applied and academic scientific research has been achieved. That is through carrying out applied scientific research and thesis which directed to solve problems in the sugar industry and environment, as well as preparing and qualification of staffs able to conduct to the scientific research and contribute in the sugar industry progress in Egypt.
The institute also contributes in the sugar industry field on the regional and global level by holding training courses for trainees from most of African countries and organizing series of international conferences with the support of Assiut University and National Sugar companies, which have contributed to link the Institute with African countries, Arab and international organizations specialized in the sugar industry field.Thanks to all leadership that established this institute and the former leaders of the sugar companies and Assiut University, which supported it during last period to become at this distinguish high level. I hope from the leaders in the university and the sugar companies to continue to support the Institute in order to continue in the tender and its message.
