About the project :-

The Ministry of Higher Education has achieved; In the field of development; A distinguished effort in a bygone era; Started with the National Conference on Education Development in 2000; And what followed that of putting in place a comprehensive plan to develop the higher education system and achieve comprehensive quality in its educational programs in 2004. The projects of developing the first phase are nearing completion. The second phase of the higher education system development projects has been prepared.
 The Ministry also prepares; At present; Additional set; Important; Necessary for new projects within the second phase plan for development projects; In order to achieve comprehensive quality in the higher education system. The government has provided the necessary funding sources for these activities (amounting to one billion pounds) that the ministry is seeking to introduce into the system in order to achieve the equation of increasing availability while achieving comprehensive quality in the higher education system. Among these new projects is the rehabilitation of a large number of colleges through implementation plans for integrated projects for continuous development, qualification for accreditation, and provision of all technical and financial support to achieve this. With the aim of achieving a distinguished and recognized graduate from neutral national accreditation institutions. The college was able to obtain a project of continuous development and qualification for accreditation on 04/13/2008.
 

Project goals:
 1- Applying the criteria leading to the college obtaining the Accreditation at the end of the project.

 2- Making research plans for the departments and linking them to applied agricultural problems, which will be the basis for obtaining scientific degrees.

 3- Establishing an annual executive plan for community service and environmental development.

 4- Modernizing the research laboratories in the faculty and preparing them with modern scientific devices and establishing 3 central laboratories to advance scientific research (Chemical Analysis Laboratory - Tissue Culture Laboratory - Molecular Biology Laboratory).

 5- Developing all college departments with the help of MIS programs and creating a comprehensive database for faculty members, their activities, administrators, student affairs, postgraduate studies, and personnel affairs.

 6- Spreading the thought of quality among faculty members and administrators.

 7- Upgrading the educational level by using advanced methods of education and employing information technology and modern management in order to ensure the quality of education.

 8- Focusing on quality standards to upgrade the educational process and link scientific research with the problems of the surrounding community

 9- Preparing a qualified graduate to meet the needs of the labor market and competitiveness.

 10- Linking the graduate to the college to get acquainted with practical application problems and how to solve them, as well as training after graduation.

 11- Paying attention to the training aspect for students (in the new list) and establishing a training center for them in the extension farm.

 12- Modernizing the library, training its employees, training the secretariat on computer programs, and training laboratory technicians on the maintenance of scientific equipment.

 13- Developing a strategic plan for the college for the next five years.
