The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology recieved a letter from Mahathir Science Award Foundation (MSAF) for Mahathir science award nomination.The Mahathir Science Award is bestowed on any scientists, institutions or organization worldwide in recognition of contributions and innovations towards solving problems in the tropics through science and technology and to be awarded to the most deserving based on merit. This Award will be given to researchers who have made internationally recognised breakthroughs in pioneering tropical research in the following fields:i. Tropical Medicineii. Tropical Agricultureiii. Tropical Architecture and Engineeringiv. Tropical Natural Resources. Prize One Award will be conferred each year covering any of the above four fields. The BA Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) announces the call for applications for the 2013 Research Grants Program to support outstanding young postdoctoral Egyptian researchers who perform cutting edge research and undertake collaborative investigation approaches across the science and technology spectrum. The program covers research in Natural sciences, Mathematics, Information Technology, and Pre-University Education. The maximum duration of the project is 2 years and the maximum budget that can be granted is 75,000 EGP.
