The President of Assiut University stated that the central outlet for selling the products of the Faculty of Agriculture aims primarily to serve the members of the university and meet their needs of various commodities at lower prices than their counterparts in the foreign market and with higher health and nutritional quality. This service represents a new addition in the series of diverse services offered by the university to its members (faculty members, staff and students). Moreover, he declared that the university always keen to increase its fields. The president also praised the level of the port, which was designed and implemented by the University's Engineering Affairs Department.
