Judicial reforms in the era of "Ghazan Khan"
In the light of the writings of "Rashid al-Din Fadlullah Al-Hamdani"
(694ـ 703 A.H / 1294ـ 1303 A.D)
The study highlights the judicial situation in the era of "Ghazan Khan", the importance of elevating it in this important historical period, and combating the manifestations of corruption it experienced in previous periods. This contributed to the development of the Renaissance and the advancement of society during the time of "Ghazan Khan" and his successors After him.
The method used in the study is the analytical method, after following the extraction of historical information contained in the sources, especially the Persian ones; in order to reach the historical truth desired.
It should be noted that there is no single research study on "Judicial Reforms in the era of Ghazan Khan", However these reforms were referred to in the book "History of Ghazan Khan" by Al-Hamdani, whose book describes in detail the life of "Ghazan Khan" And his work, whether internal or external.
The study was divided into five main elements; The first section of the study was entitled: "the Definition of Ghazan Khan", The second section was entitled: "the Definition of Rashid Al-Din Al-Hamdani", while the third section was entitled: "Themes of Attention to Judges and Confront the violators", While the fourth section is titled: "Rules of consideration of cases", while the last part of the study dealt with: "the Judicial fees".
