Tasks of the Arab University Affairs Sector""

1. 1.  It seeks to control the quality of University Education and ensure its quality     .
   2. It seeks to achieve mutual recognition of degrees and certificates issued by educational institutions.
   3.  To support student excellence and creativity and to encourage student activities between educational institutions.
   4. To encourage the establishment of research centers and support the establishment of joint scientific research, share their results. And to give care to applied research and link their topics to Arab economic and social development plans.
   5. To strengthen the cooperation between educational institutions and coordination of their efforts with relevant Universities and regional and international institutions, especially in keeping with modern developments, techniques and patterns of Education.
   6. To Encourage and activate the mobility of students and faculty between educational institutions.
   7. To Support the development of educational institutions' performance and independence, asserting the research and academic freedom of their faculty, protecting their rights and strengthening their cooperation.
   8. To internationalize higher education in the Arab world to keep up with new scientific and research developments in the world in all humane and universal things.
   9.   To follow up the Arab universities' scientific journals through "the       Union of Arab Universities" in order to reach to the world level.
