The scouting team from the Faculty of Law achieved a remarkable feat by winning first place in the competitions.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs,

and with the support of Professor Dr. Doueib Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty and Legal Advisor to the University President, and Professor Dr. Ragab Mohamed El-Kahlawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs,

the Faculty of Law's scouting team achieved a remarkable accomplishment by winning first place in the recent competitions, amidst wide participation from teams from various faculties. This victory is a culmination of the tremendous efforts exerted by the team members, along with the continuous support from the Faculty administration.

The team demonstrated outstanding performance, a high level of cooperation, and discipline throughout the competitions, enabling them to outperform the other competing teams. The team members expressed their happiness with this achievement, affirming their determination to continue achieving successes and raising the Faculty's profile in various arenas.

For its part, the college administration congratulated the scouting team on this well-deserved victory, in the presence of Professor Dr. Muammar Rateeb, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman, Vice Dean of the College for Graduate Studies and Research, praising their positive spirit and commitment, and emphasizing its keenness to support student activities that contribute to developing students’ skills and promoting the spirit of teamwork.

The thesis examination committee consists of the following members:

1- Professor Dr. Hamdallah Mohamed Hamdallah - Professor of Commercial Law - Faculty of Law - Assiut University - Supervisor and Head of the Examination Committee

2- Professor Dr. Hussein Abdo Hussein El-Mahi - Professor Emeritus of Commercial Law and Former Dean of the Faculty of Law - Mansoura University - Member of the Examination Committee

2- Professor Dr. Hammad Mustafa Azab - Professor of Commercial and Maritime Law and Former Dean of the Faculty of Law - Assiut University - Member of the Examination Committee

2- Professor Dr. Anwar Mattawa Mansour - Assistant Professor Emeritus of Commercial Law - Faculty of Law - Mansoura University - Supervisor and Member of the Examination Committee

The examination will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in the discussion hall of the administrative building.

The Dean of the College congratulates the newly formed Legal Clinic and chairs its first meeting to outline its plan for the next phase.

With feelings of confidence and optimism, Professor Dr. Dweib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College, extends his sincere congratulations to his esteemed colleagues on the announcement of the new formation of the College's Legal Clinic, wishing them continued success in fulfilling their noble mission.

The new committee is composed as follows:

Professor Dr. Dweib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College (Chairman); Professor Dr. Moamar Rateeb Abdel Hafez, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development (Vice Chairman); and Dr. Abdel Fattah Saeed Sadek, Lecturer of Public Law (Director).

In this context, the College witnessed the first meeting of the newly formed Legal Clinic on Tuesday, April 7th, chaired by Professor Dr. Dweib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College.

The meeting began with a welcoming address in which the Dean emphasized the pivotal role of the Legal Clinic in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical application, providing legal and advisory services to the community, and refining students' professional skills.

Key topics of discussion at the meeting:

• Discussion of the work plan: The outlines of the Clinic's work plan for the upcoming phase were reviewed and discussed. This plan aims to expand the scope of target groups and develop mechanisms for providing consultations.

• Upcoming events: A schedule was established for the educational seminars and training workshops that the Clinic will organize during the current semester.

• Strengthening partnerships: Ways to collaborate with legal and community institutions were explored to enhance the positive impact of the Clinic.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on concerted efforts to achieve the College's vision of graduating qualified legal professionals capable of contributing to and serving the community with professionalism and competence.
