Prof.El-Minshawy; the program aims to preserve the national identity of young people and raise their awareness of current challenges
The week of the Islamic call, entitled: "Faith and the Human Building ", starts at Assiut University, tomorrow, Monday
4 November; under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, which is organized by the Higher Committee for Da’wa, at Islamic Research Complex, under the guidance of Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar; by intensifying programs, advocacy, and awareness events; to achieve the role of Al-Azhar and its mission.
Prof. El-Minshawy appreciated the important role of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and its openness to all state institutions to implement many activities that seek to maintain the awareness of society, its keenness to constantly communicate with young people at universities, schools, and institutes, raise their awareness of current challenges, and immunize them from attempts to tamper with their minds while consolidating the correct understanding of the purposes of Islamic law.
The launch of the" Belief and Human Building" program at Assiut University comes during the period from November 4 to 6 November, within the framework of the initiative of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, president of the Republic," a new beginning for Human building", and contributing to the preparation of an intellectual map dealing with human building in all its aspects; intellectual, ideological, and social, and the consolidation of the system of values, ethics, and ideals in society, with the participation of a group of Al-Azhar scholars.
The event will be supervised by prof. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, vice president of Assiut University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Rahman Al-duwaini, undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Dayem Al-Jundi, secretary general of the Islamic Research Complex.
The week's activities include the launch of the first seminar, tomorrow, Monday, entitled: "The Islamic faith: its concept, its characteristics," during which Dr. Mohammed Abdul Dayem Al-Jundi, secretary-general of the Islamic Research Complex, Dr. Hassan Ibrahim Yahya, assistant secretary-general of the Higher Committee for advocacy affairs, Islamic Research Complex, and Dr. Mohammed Al-diasti, member of the media center , will lecture at exactly ten o'clock in the morning, in the eight Hall of the administrative building.
The activities of the week will continue; the second seminar, on Tuesday 5 November, "Methodology of dealing with the texts of the Koran and the Sunnah", will be launched successively, during which: Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Malik al-Khatib, vice-president of Al-Azhar University for the tribal face, Dr. Morsi Mohammed Hassan, professor of Hadith and its Sciences, Faculty of origins of religion, Assiut branch, Sheikh Youssef Mohammed Al-Mansi, member of the secretariat of the Higher Committee for da'wah, and Dr. Mohammed Al-diasti, member of the media center in Al- Masheikha.
The third seminar, scheduled to start on Wednesday November, is entitled: "Science and religion.. Direct or reverse relationship", during which Dr. Rashwan Abu Zeid, professor of Hadith and its Sciences, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Sohag, will lecture, Dr. Mustafa Mamdouh Al-Tahan, member of the secretariat of the Higher Committee for da'wa, and Dr. Mohammed Al-diasti, member of the media center in Al- Masheikha.
