The Center for Future Studies at Assiut University is organizing a workshop "The uses of artificial intelligence and its future in the fields and specialties of the faculties and institutes of the University" 

  Under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, the University witnessed, today, Wednesday, December 4, the launch of a training workshop entitled:" The Uses of Artificial Intelligence and Its Future in the Fields and Specialties of Faculties and Institutes of Assiut University", which was organized by the Center for future studies at the University, in cooperation with the General Administration of student welfare, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice president of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Jamal Badr, vice president of the University for graduate studies and Research Affairs.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Alaa Abdul Hafeez, dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Dr. Mohammed Adawi, advisor to the president of the University for alumni affairs, entrepreneurship, and innovation and director of the center, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Haider, advisor to the president of the University for artificial intelligence and information technology, with the participation of (50) students from the Faculty of Commerce.

 The workshop aimed to provide a training program for students of the Faculty of Commerce on artificial intelligence, its applications, and various technologies, including; introducing the concept of artificial intelligence, its main areas, and how to apply it in the fields of commerce, business administration, highlighting tools and technologies that help students in data analysis tasks, decision-making, and motivating students to think about the future of artificial intelligence and its impact on their jobs.

   Prof. El-Minshawy stressed the importance of the workshop, due to the accelerated development in the fields of digital transformation and data science, which culminated in the tremendous progress in the field of artificial intelligence, there was an urgent need to 
Developing students ' skills, qualifying them for the labor market, and developing their mental and intellectual abilities to deal with modern technologies and accelerated developments in the fields of artificial intelligence.

   For his part, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla stressed the importance of investment and development in human capital to build a modern state through the application and dissemination of digital transformation in various sectors and benefit from artificial intelligence applications to develop various educational and administrative systems, which the university administration seeks to implement for its students through training programs and workshops on artificial intelligence, information technology, and digital transformation, stressing the University's endeavors to provide society with a graduate capable of dealing with the data of the modern era with an advanced perspective, methods, and modern technologies.

Dr. Alaa Abdul Hafiz thanked the university administration for its continuous support of all student and scientific activities at the Faculty of Commerce, praising the training programs covered by the workshop on artificial intelligence, which has become an essential component in the educational and research system, pointing out the importance of observing ethics and rules for the optimal use of artificial intelligence.

Dr. Mohamed Adwy explained that the workshop discusses the uses of artificial intelligence and its future in the fields and specialties of faculties and institutes of Assiut University through a set of training programs for students, practical applications, and seminars, which are lectured by a group of professors and specialists in the field of artificial intelligence to prepare and qualify university students for the labor market and develop their skills.

 During his lecture, Dr. Abdulrahman Haider spoke about the definition of artificial intelligence, its main areas, its applications in commerce, business administration, completing business operations, developments, and artificial intelligence tools suitable for students of the Faculty of Commerce, its role in big data analysis, decision-making, the future of artificial intelligence in the labor market, and reviewing the ethics of artificial intelligence.

The workshop activities witnessed a discussion 
And inquiries from the students participating in the training program, and discussed the challenges and opportunities for artificial intelligence in work and skills development.
